Lieutenant Colonel Brittiane Staton Bio

Lieutenant Colonel Brittiane Staton is a native of Charleston, SC. She graduated from Voorhees College in Denmark, SC and received her commission into the Signal Corps through South Carolina State University ROTC program. She earned her Masters of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University in 2016. Her military education includes Signal Officer Basic Course, Signal Captain’s Career Course, and Army Command and General Staff College.
Lieutenant Colonel Staton has served in a variety of leadership positions at the company, battalion, brigade and general staff levels. Her deployments include Camp Buehring, Kuwait with USARCENT G2 JWICS Systems Team, Joint Task Force (JTF) Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (GTMO) supporting as the Plans and Resources Division Chief, Bagram, Afghanistan with 25th Signal Battalion supporting as the Battalion Executive Officer.
Her awards include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (2), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, German Armed Forces Badge (Silver), Korean Service Ribbon, and the Army Service Ribbon.
Lieutenant Colonel Staton resides in Woodbridge, VA with her husband Joseph and their three children, Jaylen, Kaleb and Lily Staton and her mother Terristine Martin.
