Lakil Mason was born in Greenville, North Carolina and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the only the daughter of five children to Stacy Lucas and Leonard Mason.
Lakil attended the public schools of Cobb County, graduating from South Cobb High School in 2013. Later that year, she enrolled to the illustrious Morris College on a basketball scholarship. During her matriculation, she reached many milestones including the following: earning the title of the 63rd Miss Morris College, becoming a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and receiving a Bachelor’s of Science Degree.
Lakil has always been known for her hard work, athleticism, great leadership and positive spirit. After graduating, she landed a full-time job in her profession as a Wastewater Laboratory Analyst. She was also able to reconnect with a former basketball coach who trusted her with an opportunity to join The Village Market ATL. Within just two years of doing the work, Lakil was promoted to Executive Assistant of the company. The Village Market has opened up many opportunities and connections for her; that is why she will forever stress the importance of building relationships.
In addition to expanding her professional portfolio, she is currently aiming to pursue her lifelong passion for modeling and acting. Lakil’s ultimate goal is to become a household name through entertainment, philanthropy, education and mentorship. She believes her patience, dedication, character, leadership, and humbleness will guide heron path of success.
