Cameron Chalmers Dupree, a native of Cameron, North Carolina, is a military spouse and Owner of Upward Path Therapy Center, an online psychotherapy and support services private practice.

Cameron Chalmers Dupree, a native of Cameron, North Carolina, is a military spouse and Owner of Upward Path Therapy Center, an online psychotherapy and support services private practice. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and earned a Masters in Social Work from the University of South Carolina-Columbia.
Cameron is a Therapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker proficient in assessing, diagnosing, and working with an array of mental health disorders across numerous lifespans. However, she is most enthusiastic about treating adults experiencing depression, stress, anxiety, and challenging life transitions within the civilian and military communities.
With over a decade of experience, Cameron has performed in a variety of settings and roles, such as inpatient and outpatient medical facilities, as a Medical and Nephrology Social Worker, in community assistance organizations, and within the corporate and non-profit sectors. Most recently, she has served as a Resiliency Workshop Facilitator for the military community, teaching various approaches and techniques to help combat the stress, trauma, and other challenges that the Armed Forces population all too often may face.
Cameron is a member of Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, and the Texas Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers. She is trained in Symptom Targeted Intervention for dialysis patients, and received training from the Beck Institute in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Cameron currently resides in Kaiserslautern, Germany with her husband, son, and daughter, and enjoys traveling to various countries, experimenting with new recipes, and watching HGTV in her spare time. She contributes her success, growth, and ability to defeat challenging circumstances to her faith in God.
